Absentee Counting Board Notice:
To the Qualified Electors of Columbia Township,
Please take notice that Columbia Township Election Commission established an Absentee Counting Board for the 11/5/24 election. The election commission also approved Absentee Early Ballot Processing to be conducted on 11/4/24 at the Columbia Township Hall, 53053 CR 388, Grand Junction, MI 49056 - hours to be determined, 5 election inspectors will be present for Absentee Early Ballot tabulating.

Voter Registration
Michigan's voters are encouraged to register as early as possible before an election. Methods and requirements for voter registration depend on the following deadlines:

If there are 15+ days before an election, voters can register online, by mail, or in person.

​Within 14 days of an election, and on Election Day, voters may only register by visiting their local clerk’s office to register in person with proof of residency documentation.
Absentee Voting
Voters can apply for an Absent Voter Ballot starting 75 days before Election Day.
*You need to be registered to vote in order to apply for an Absent Voter Ballot.*
