WHEREAS, the Columbia Township Board has been informed that an Amended Complaint has been filed in the Circuit Court action against Columbia Township, Dale Bradford, Mary Burgett, Mary Fogarty, and Danielle Nuismer, and

WHEREAS, the Amended Complaint adds Township Trustee Rosemary Hurley to the Complaint as a Defendant, suing her for actions taken in her capacity as a township official,

NOW, THEREFORE, the Columbia Township Board authorizes its attorneys, Schuitmaker, Cooper, Schuitmaker, Cypher & Knotek to accept service on behalf of Rosemary Hurley and to represent her in the Circuit Court action.

The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member Burgett and supported by Board Member Bradford.

Upon roll call vote, the following voted.

Harrington aye

Hurley absent

The Supervisor declared the resolution adopted.
