COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, VAN BUREN COUNTY

RESOLUTION TO ADOPT ZONING ORDINANCE REVISIONS AND ZONING MAP

2008-05

WHEREAS, the Columbia Township Planning Commission, after a public hearing, has recommended approval to the Township Board of the amendments to the Columbia Township Zoning Ordinance and an updated map conforming to said amendments,

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

That the Township Board hereby adopts the amendments to Columbia Township Zoning Ordinance as recommended by the Planning Commission, attached hereto as Exhibit 1; and,

That the Township board hereby adopts the map conforming to said amendments, attached hereto as Exhibit 2.

The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member Burgett and supported by Board Member Hurley.

Upon roll call vote, the following voted.

Bradford aye

Burgett aye

Fogarty aye

Harrington nay

Hurley aye

The Supervisor declared the resolution adopted.

I, Mary Burgett, the duly elected and acting Clerk of Columbia Township, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the township board of said township at the meeting of said board held on March 10, 2008, at which meeting a quorum was present by a roll call vote of said members as hereinbefore set forth; that said resolution was ordered to take immediate effect.
