NOTICE OF BUDGET HEARING AND SPECIAL MEETING
COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP BOARD
March 29, 2021, at 6:00 p.m.
THE MEETING WILL BE HELD ELECTRONICALLY.
The Columbia Township Board will hold a public hearing and special meeting on the proposed Township budget for the fiscal year April 1, 2021 – March 31, 2022, electronically on March 29, 2020, at 6:00 pm. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. A copy of the budget, including the proposed property tax millage rates, is available for public inspection on the homepage of the Township’s website at www.columbiatwp.com/proposed-budget/.
The Township must hold a public hearing before the final adoption of the budget. Any interested person will be given the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing regarding the proposed budget.
Additionally, the board will consider any final amendments to the current fiscal year (2020/21) budget and any other item(s) that may come appropriately before the board.
Pursuant to the Open Meeting Act – SB 1108 the Township gives notice of the following:
1. Reason for Electronic Meeting. The Board is holding its meetings by electronic means only to protect the health and safety of our citizens and Board Members.

4. Persons with Disabilities. Persons with disabilities may participate in the meeting through the methods set forth in paragraph 2.
