Supervisor Bradford called the Regular Meeting of the Columbia Township Board to order. Present were Bradford, Burgett, Fogarty, Hurley, and Harrington. In attendance were 15 citizens.

Supervisor: John Huizenga and Dale Bradford were guests at the White Caps game, sponsored by Homeland Security.

Fire Chief: 7 calls received in April: 2 authorized controlled burning; 2 motor vehicle accident; 2 grass fires; 1 medical assist. Average response time was 7.86 minutes. Training was held in Bloomingdale with a live fire simulator. Max Streeter & Ken Goodwin attended the conference in Indianapolis.

Sheriff: 71 complaints received in April: 6 accidents, 11 animal at large, 3 assault, 3 ATT pickup, 5 be on the look out, 1 breaking & entering, 2 conservation, 1 cruelty to animals, 1 dog law violation, 3 fraudulent activity, 17 general assistance, 2 health & safety, 2 invasion of privacy, 5 larceny, 2 MDOP, 1 public peace, 1 suspicious situation, 1 vehicle inspection.

County Commissioner: No Report.

Planning Commission: No Report.

Neighborhood Watch: John H. was a guest speaker at the emergency preparedness conference in Lansing.

Hospital: No Report.

South Haven Senior Services: No Report.

Recreation/Cemetery: Waiting for quotes on fence at Breedsville Cemetery.

Zoning Administrator: 6 Zoning Compliances issued in April: 1 wood frame; 1 porch enclosure; 1 garage remodel; 1 roof over home; 1 attached garage.

Blight Officer: No Report.
