RESOLUTION 2005-17
"24th Av. Bridge"
WHEREAS, The Board has reviewed the application for Critical Bridge Funding for the reconstruction of the 24th Av. Bridge, East of CR 215; and
WHEREAS, The bridge does not meet present day standards and parts of the structure are deteriorating; and
WHEREAS, Because of the age of the present structure, it is not practical to rehabilitate the superstructure: and
WHEREAS, This bridge is used by township farmers to get their crops to market, and many township residents who live on or near several lakes in the area, and trucks use this road to service residents in our township.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Board concurs in the importance of replacement of this structure and further we urge the approval of the application for Critical Bridge Funding for the above captioned structure.
The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member Burgett and supported by Board Member Hurley.
