Establishment of Industrial Development District Public Hearing Date

WHEREAS, Stokes Blueberry Farms, owners of property described as:

Township of Columbia, County of Van Buren, State of Michigan, to wit:

That part of the North half of the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section lying Easterly of the railroad, EXCEPT the South 196.87’ of the East 553.16 feet thereof.

Have requested Columbia Township to establish an Industrial Development District for the real property described above, and,

WHEREAS, Section 4 (4) of the Michigan Public Acts of 1974, Act No. 198, requires that the Township shall give written notice to the owners of all real property within the proposed Industrial Development District and hold a public hearing on the establishment of the Industrial Development District, at which time those owners and other residents or taxpayers of the local governmental unit shall have a right to appear and be heard,

THEREFORE, the Columbia Township Board shall hold a Public Hearing on March 5, 2005 at 12:30 p.m., to consider establishing such a District.

The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member Burgett and supported by Board Member Hurley.

Upon roll call vote, the following voted.
