WHEREAS, the State of Michigan requires all jurisdictions to have the same voting system and

WHEREAS, a grant will cover the cost of the Optical Scan Voting System and

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Columbia Township Board gives Mary Burgett, Columbia Township Clerk, the authority to execute the grant application

The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member Hurley and supported by Board Member Fogarty.

Upon roll call vote, the following voted.  Beckwith aye; Burgett aye; Fogarty aye; Harrington absent; Hurley aye.

The Supervisor declared the resolution adopted.
