FINAL RESOLUTION TO APPROVE ASSESSMENT ROLL-2004-04

COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP, VAN BUREN COUNTY, MICHIGAN

RE: CREATION OF A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FOR

THE ERADICATION OR CONTROL OF AQUATIC WEEDS and

PLANTS FOR SADDLE LAKE

After duly noticed and posted, a hearing was held on February 17, 2004, to review the final assessment roll for the special assessment district created for the eradication or control of aquatic leaves and plants for Saddle Lake, Columbia Township, Michigan.

1. That this special assessment district, which includes all of the lots set forth on the attached, is hereby approved.

2. That each owner(s) of a parcel(s) of land abutting Saddle Lake, as listed on the attached assessment roll, shall pay an equal portion of the assessment; to wit: $145.00 per year, for an initial period of five (5) years; i.e., each parcel shall be liable for an assessment of $145 per year for five (5) years.

3. That the assessment will be paid over five (5) years, beginning in 2004. There will be an 8% interest charged on any unpaid balance.

4. That the assessment roll as prepared is adopted and confirmed by the Township Board.

Motion by Burgett, second by Hurley, to approve the final assessment roll.
