The Regular Meeting of the Columbia Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Beckwith. Present were Beckwith, Burgett, Fogarty, Hurley, and Harrington. In attendance were 23 citizens.

Sheriff: 90 complaints received in February: 4 abandoned/hazard, 2 accidents, 6 alarm activation, 1 animal control, 3 assault, 3 att pick up, 1 be on the look out, 1 breaking & entering, 1 cruelty/neglect, 5 delinquent minor, 1 for your info, 1 fraudulent activity, 15 general assistance, 1 health & safety, 8 invasion of privacy, 4 larceny, 1 medical response, 1 missing person, 5 obstructing justice, 2 under the influence of liquor, 2 public peace, 3 recovered stolen vehicle, 1 runaway, 10 suspicious situation, 3 traffic violation, 3 VCSA, 2 vehicle inspection.

State Police: No Report.

County Commissioner: Revenue Sharing cuts are still a big issue.

Fire Chief: 6 calls in February, 1 electrical wiring/equipment problem, 2 medical assist, 1 structure, 2 mutual aid to South Haven (structure). Average response time was 7.67 minutes. Columbia Township Neighborhood Watch and Fire Department will be having a pancake breakfast July 3, 2004 from 7am to Noon.

Planning Commission: Al Baerren attended "intro to lakes" and found it very informative.

Neighborhood Watch: Next meeting-April 1, 2004-7:30 pm. John Huzienga, Dean Beckwith, Sheriff Gribler, and Deputy Douglas, were invited to meet with the Governor, Jennifer Granholm.

Book Station: Open Wednesday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm.

Hospital: No Report.

South Haven Senior Services: Computer classes are being held at the Book Station in Grand Junction.

Recreation/Cemetery: No Report.

Zoning Administrator: No Zoning Compliances issued in February.

Blight Officer: 2 Blight complaints received in February.

Correspondence: A Trespass Notice was received from Frank & Jeannine Grubisich forbidding all officials, contractors, and employees of Columbia Township from entering upon the land or premises at 50910 Shore Drive and 59015 Shore Drive, Grand Junction, Michigan, without lawful authority.

A letter from Gove Associates in regards to the Proposed Sewer System for Bloomingdale.
