RESOLUTION 2003-07

"Budget Amendment"

WHEREAS, Columbia Township revenues and expenditures have deviated from the anticipated values reflected in the fiscal year 2002/2003 budget,

BE IT RESOLVED, Columbia Township approves the following budget amendment:

General Fund

Decrease budgeted Retirement expense by $390 from $3,400 to $3,010.

Increase budgeted Supervisor-Conference & Training Expense by $140 from $600 to $740.

Increase budgeted Clerk-Conference & Training Expense by $20 from $600 to $620.

Increase budgeted Treasurer-Conference & Training Expense by $230 from $450 to $680.

Increase budgeted Contracted Police Expense by $8,000 from $50,000 to $58,000.

Increase budgeted Contribution to Road Expense by $10,000 from $75,000 to $85,000.

As a result of this General Fund budget change the budgeted General Fund Balance is decreased by $18,000 from $48,531 to $30,531.

Road Fund

Increase budgeted Contribution from General Fund expense by $10,000 from $75,000 to $85,000.

As a result of this Road Fund budget change, the budgeted Road Fund Balance is increased by $10,000 from $117,898 to $127,898.

Fire Fund

Increase budgeted Apparatus Supplies & Foam Expense by $2,000 from $4,500 to $6,500.

Decrease budgeted Capital Draft Pumper #2721 by $2,000 from $2,000 to 0.

As a result of this Fire Fund budget change the ending balance is not changed.

 

The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member Burgett and supported by Board Member Beckwith.

The Supervisor declared the resolution adopted.
