WHEREAS, A petition signed by all the owners of the lands abutting a portion of St. Josephs Street, (more fully described below) praying for the abandonment of said St. Joseph Street, was received by the Columbia Township Board of the County of Van Buren;

WHEREAS, In the opinion of the Board, it would be in the best interest of the public that said portion of St. Joseph Street be abandoned;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the portion of St. Joseph Street as delineated in the plat of the Village of Grand Junction, Section 9, Town 1 South; Range 15 West, Columbia Township commencing at CR 388, then South to the KalHaven Trail,

Be, and the same is, hereby abandoned;

The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member Burgett and supported by Board Member Fogarty.

The Supervisor declared the resolution adopted.
