COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES

A Special Meeting of the Columbia Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Beckwith. Present were Beckwith, Burgett, Fogarty, Hurley, and Harrington.

1. Motion by Hurley, seconded by Fogarty, to approve purchasing tires for the pumper tanker, at a cost of $$1,120. Carried unanimously.

2. Motion by Burgett, seconded by Fogarty, to cancel the second dust control application. Carried unanimously.

3. Motion by Fogarty, seconded by Burgett, to cancel the lease for the property on the corner of CR 215 and CR 384, with the Village of Breedsville. The fence to stay with the property. Carried unanimously.

4. Motion by Harrington, seconded by Burgett, to pay ½ the cost ($72.50) of the training for Jerry Thibodeau, in Escanaba, Michigan. Roll call vote. Beckwith aye, Burgett aye, Fogarty aye, Hurley aye, Harrington aye. Carried unanimously.

5. Motion by Burgett, seconded by Fogarty, to hire Sally Goss to work 2 days a week from 9-1 pm. Carried unanimously.
