WHEREAS, A petition signed by all the owners of the lands abutting a portion of Center Street, (more fully described below) praying for the absolute abandonment of said Center Street, was received by the Board of County Road Commissioners for the County of Van Buren; and

WHEREAS, In the opinion of the Board, it would be in the best interest of the public that said portion of Center Street be absolutely abandoned,

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the portion of Center Street as delineated in the plat of the Maples, Section 21, Town 1 South; Range 15 West, Columbia Township, as recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Van Buren County, commencing at the West line of Lot 13 Block 1, and Lot 4 Block 2, and extending westerly to the East right of way line of West Street.

Be, and the same is, hereby absolutely abandoned; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Van Buren County Road Commission adopted a Resolution for the abandonment of Center Street on September 21, 2000, that was filed with the Register of Deeds for Van Buren County.

The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member Burgett and supported by Board Member Hurley.

The Supervisor declared the resolution adopted.
