COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES

A Special Meeting of the Columbia Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Beckwith. Present were Beckwith, Burgett, Fogarty, and Harrington. Absent Hurley. In attendance were 3 citizens.

Motion by Fogarty, seconded by Harrington, to send the Fire Chief to a grant writing seminar on September 5, 2001, at a cost of $225. Carried.

Motion by Burgett, seconded by Fogarty, to table the purchase of hose fittings for the Fire Department until the Regular Meeting September 18, 2001. 3 Yes, 1 No. Carried.

Motion by Burgett, seconded by Harrington, to set free dump day for September 22, 2001. Carried.

Motion by Harrington, seconded by Fogarty, to table setting the date for the land sale. Carried.

A resident voiced concerns about having to get approval for the expenditures for the Fire Department, and the rules for the land sale.
