WHEREAS, Resolution 2010 of December 19, 2000, calling for action to gain or retain land beyond the roadway to the West of Silver Lake Road was pursued, and

WHEREAS, the township attorney has explored all options for action and sees no reasonable way to fulfill Resolution 2010.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Columbia Township will pursue establishment of a 33’ right-of-way, along Silver Lake, beginning on the West edge of existing lots in Penzo’s Subdivision.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Columbia Township Board, County of Van Buren, State of Michigan, rescinds the former resolution, Resolution 2010 of December 19, 2000.

The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member May and supported by Board Member Beckwith.

The Supervisor declared the resolution adopted.
