A Special Meeting of the Columbia Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Beckwith. Present were Beckwith, Burgett, Fogarty, Harrington, and Hurley. In attendance was 1 resident.
Motion by Harrington, seconded by Burgett, to have an oil separator installed in the fire station for $2,208.91 to be taken out of account Capital-Fire Stations. Carried unanimously.
49th Street Hump-no action
Motion by Beckwith, seconded by Harrington to add to the agenda,
Carried unanimously.
Motion by Harrington, seconded by Fogarty, to purchase fence for the Book Station-166’ and Ambulance Station-129.6’ & 164.9’, to be installed by the jail work crew. Carried unanimously.
Motion by Burgett, seconded by Hurley, to have Butler Computer to install 2 CD drives for $215. Carried unanimously.
Motion by Burgett, seconded by Hurley, to pay Gove Associates bill for $3,248.55. Carried unanimously.
Motion by Harrington, seconded by Burgett, to purchase letters for the Smokey the Bear sign for $189. Carried unanimously.
Motion by Beckwith, seconded by Harrington, to accept the resignation of Junior Corona as assistant chief and appoint Farley Gruber assistant chief. Carried unanimously.
Motion by Harrington, seconded by Hurley, to pay for the blacktopping of the Fire Station drive out of Road Funds. Carried unanimously.
