RESOLUTION 2001-01

"Budget Amendment"

WHEREAS, Columbia Township revenues and expenditures have deviated from the anticipated values reflected in the fiscal year 2000/2001 budget,

BE IT RESOLVED, Columbia Township approves the following budget amendment:

General Fund

Increase budgeted Township Hall expense by $2,500 from $10,100 to $12,600.

Increase budgeted Police Protection expense by $4,500 from $22,062 to $26,562.

Increase budgeted Dumpster Site expense by $8,000 from $18,750 to $26,750.

Increase budgeted Contribution To Other Funds expense by $9,800 from $80,500 to $90,300.

As a result of these General Fund budget changes, the budgeted General Fund Balance is decreased by $24,800 from $285,457 to $260,657.

Road Fund

Increase budgeted Contribution From General Fund by $1,000 from $209,686 to $210,686.

Increase budgeted Highways, Streets & Bridges expense by $5,000 from $209,686 to $214,686.

As a result of these Road Fund budget changes, the budgeted Road Fund Balance is decreased by $4,000 from $119,708 to $115,708.

Fire Fund

Increase budgeted Contribution From General Fund by $8,800 from $10,000 to $18,800.

Increase budgeted Insurance expense by $7,000 from $6,000 to $13,000.

As a result of these Fire Fund budget changes, the budgeted Fire Fund Balance is increased by $1,800 from $1,982 to $3,782.

The foregoing resolution offered by Board Member Harrington and supported by Board Member Burgett.
