Speicher moved to appoint the scheduled and alternate individuals as election inspectors for the primary and general elections as needed, seconded by May. Carried unanimously.

Discussion: Ken and Marie Speicher also attended training and are certified as election inspectors in the county. Ken and Marie can not be election inspectors as Ken is running for office. May suggest that Fred Christen be approached to see if he is interested in being an election inspector. Speicher will make contact.

  1. Roads: Discussion took place on the condition of the roads. Beckwith will take action to contact the Road Commission to obtain answers on questions:
  2. What can be done to the natural beauty road to maintain the condition smooth?

Does the Road Comm estimate money will be left over this year?

What can be done to 50th Street to keep it smooth?

What is happening with boom mowing?

Who can sell the trees on 50th street?

Can we try using mill slag on a street or two?

It does not seem like work is happening on 56th Street, what is the update?

  3. Township Hall Parking Lights: Harrington moved to authorize May to obtain bids and select the lowest bidder for improving the lighting at the Township Hall, not to exceed $1,900.00, seconded by Beckwith. Carried unanimously.
