COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The Special Meeting of Columbia Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Beckwith. Township Board Members present were Speicher, May, and Harrington. Beckwith and Landers were in telecommunications via speakerphone. Two residents and the Fire Chief were in attendance

Agenda: Additional Fire Truck, Ambulance Station Appliances and the Assessor’s furniture.

NEW BUSINESS:

  1. Fire Truck: Fire Chief Rogalla informed the Township Board of a fire truck that was out for bid. Rogalla had inspected the Fire Truck and recommends the township provides an offer. Speicher moved to make a bid offer to purchase the fire truck and to allow the fire chief to properly supply the fire truck with necessary equipment. Fire truck and equipment not to exceed $50,000.00, seconded by Harrington. Carried unanimously.
  2. Bid offer attached to meeting minutes. Fire Chief Rogalla provided a list of items needed to place the fire truck in operation. Rogalla obtained three prices for each item and choose the smallest.

  3. Ambulance Station: May moved to pay for the refrigerator and stove purchased by Coloma Ambulance for the Ambulance Station, seconded by Harrington. Carried unanimously.
  4. Assessor’s Furniture: Harrington moved to pay for the furniture the assessor provided at the Township Hall, seconded by Speicher. Carried unanimously.
