COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The Special Meeting of Columbia Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Beckwith. Township Board Members present were Beckwith, Speicher, May, Harrington and Landers. Planning Commission Members present were Al Baerren and Dean Beckwith. Absent were Don Ridge and Jack Bowen. In attendance was three members of the public.

Agenda: Zoning Administrator selection and contractor support for revision to Master Plan

1. Agenda: May moved to continue with the meeting without Planning Commission, seconded by Harrington. Carried unanimously.

Discussion: the Planning Commission lacked a quorum and could not be called to order. Jack Bowen called in sick with the flu.

2. Zoning Administrator Selection: Beckwith moved to Table selection of Zoning Administrator, seconded by Speicher. Carried unanimously.

Discussion: The Zoning Administrator has to be recommended by the Planning Commission. Planning Commission will provide their recommendation to the Township Board at a later date. Vic Sedlac will continue as interim, until such time.

3. Contractor for master plan: Beckwith moved to table any action on revision to the master plan until later this year, seconded by Harrington. Carried unanimously.
4. Agenda Change: Harrington moved to add Township Hall electrical generator to the agenda, seconded by Landers. Carried unanimously.
5. Electrical Generator: May moved to table the electrical generators to allow time to tabulate the information so the options can be evaluated, seconded by Speicher. Carried unanimously.
