COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES

A Special Meeting of Columbia Township Board was called to order by Supervisor Beckwith at 6:35 p.m. Present were Beckwith, Speicher, May, Harrington and Landers. Beckwith was telecommunications / speaker phone.

Speicher moved to accept Gerald Grahek’s resignation as Fire Board Representative, seconded by Landers. Carried unanimously.

Beckwith moved to appoint Ken Speicher to replaced Gerald Grahek as representative on the BBACG Fire Board, seconded by Landers. Carried unanimously.

Speicher moved to appoint George Harrington to be the second representative on the BBACG Fire Board as required by PA 33 of 1951, seconded by Landers. Carried unanimously.

Board reviewed notification letter to BBACG of change in representatives and determine no action was required by the board, letter satisfactory.

Board provided their wishes with respect to BBACG to Speicher for this evenings meeting. Expenditures by the BBACG should not be approved as the budget was never approved in accordance with State Statues. Altered meeting minutes shall not be approved. Ensure the motion by Grahek to comply with state is properly recorded in the BBACG’s minutes.

May provided a list of information that should be requested from the BBACG Administrative Board. The list of information is related to Geneva Township leaving the BBACG. May moved Speicher request the Chairperson of the BBACG provided the information, seconded by Harrington. Carried unanimously.

Supervisor called adjournment at 6:55 p.m.
