COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The special meeting/workshop of the Columbia Township Board was called to order by Burgett for the purpose of working on the proposed budget and pay. Present were Grahek, May, Landers, and Harrington. Accountant KeVen Richcreek and 11 other people attended.

The Board discussed the entire budget and adopted the following pay resolutions:

Twp. Trustees salary set at $1300.00 per year. Motion by Grahek, seconded by May, carried unanimously.

Twp. Clerk salary set at $8004.00 per year. Motion by May, seconded by Harrington. Carried by 4 votes; Grahek abstained.

Twp. Treasurer salary set at $8004.00 per year. Motion by Grahek, seconded by Harrington. Carried by 4 votes; May abstained.

Cemetery clerical pay set at $107.00 per month. Motion by Grahek, seconded by Burgett. Carried unanimously.

Zoning Administrator pay set at $350.00 per month. Motion by Grahek, seconded by May. Carried by 3 votes, Landers and Burgett dissented.

Transfer station pay set at $225.00 per month. Motion by Landers, seconded by May. Carried unanimously.

Constable fee set at $114.00 per month. Motion by May, seconded by Grahek. Carried unanimously.

Fire Board Rep. and Hospital Rep. pay set at $40.00 per month, no mileage. Motion by May, seconded by Harrington. Carried unanimously.

There were no motions and no votes regarding any other pays.

Grahek moved to adjourn, seconded by Burgett. Meeting adjourned at 9:38 PM.
