COLUMBIA TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING MINUTES

At 6:08 PM Burgett called the special meeting to order. The same people were present [Present were Grahek, May, Landers, and Harrington. Four people also attended.]

Grahek moved to adopt the proposed budget for fiscal year ending March 31, 1998 as presented. Harrington seconded. Carried by unanimous roll call vote.

Harrington moved that the Township contribute $500.00 to the VFW monument fund. Seconded by Burgett. Carried by unanimous roll call vote.

Grahek moved that the Township allow volunteers to remove cactus from the ballfield, and to make certain other improvements to the ballfield, and that the Township will purchase the materials for these improvements up to a cost of $900.00, and that George Harrington be designated as the coordinator between the volunteers and the Township Board, and that volunteers be required to coordinate with George Harrington for every improvement. Seconded by May. Carried by unanimous roll call vote.

Grahek moved to adjourn, seconded by Burgett. Meeting adjourned at 6:15 PM.
